The cone is
not the container.
SWISSCONE.COM is available for purchase. The page below illustrates one direction: a heritage Swiss waffle cone brand built on a single pressed recipe that has never changed.
The cones
Three cones. One recipe. Sixty years of proof.
The Classic
The original 1962 formula. Brown butter, raw Swiss honey, alpine milk. Pressed at 185°C for exactly 70 seconds. The one that started it.
Original recipe, 1962The Dark
Dutch cocoa pressed into the Classic formula. For gelato and sorbetto. The contrast of bitter cone and sweet filling is the reason people come back.
Introduced 1978The Cup
The same pressed batter, formed into a flat-bottomed cup. For soft-serve and layered builds. Does not compromise. Does not leak.
Introduced 1991
The press
Same cast iron. Same batter. Same 70 seconds. Every cone since 1962.
The Swiss Cone press has never been modernised. The cast iron plates were machined in Zurich in 1961 and have produced every cone under this name since. The pattern they press into the batter creates the structural geometry that prevents collapse for up to four minutes after filling.
That is not a marketing claim. It is an engineering property of the lattice. Our clients notice it. Their customers do not, which is the point.
Supplied to
Every starred gelateria in Zurich uses a Swiss Cone. Most of them don't tell you that.
Gelaterie and creameries
Artisan gelato and ice cream operators who understand that the cone is part of the flavour profile, not an afterthought. Swiss Cone supplies over 200 premium outlets across Europe.
Hotel and restaurant groups
Groups offering a dessert programme that requires a cone that holds, looks correct, and does not embarrass the kitchen. Our foodservice packaging ships frozen-ready in counts of 500 and 1,000.
Consumer retail
SWISSCONE.COM is the exact-match domain for the brand that is ready to go direct to consumer. Grocery, specialty food, and DTC subscription are all untapped for this product category.
